MIXED USE PROJECTS
Rame Architects have been increasingly involved in mixed use developments combining retail and leisure with residential, often with significant challenges in terms of Planning controls.
Projects include:
-
Approval for a sea-front restaurant and luxury apartments in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall
-
Retail unit and luxury apartments on a restrictive site in Croydon (which had twice been refused planning permission prior to our involvement)
-
A multi-use project in Essex to redevelop a former public house into a retail unit and flats, construction of 2 new build dwellings and a stand-alone retail unit. This site had also suffered two refusals prior to our engagement.
